Collaboration partners

On this page we will link to our partners, with whom we actively work on research projects.

Kiavash Kianfar, Texas A&M:

We work on the development of optimal search schemes with Prof. Kianfar.

Costas Iliopoulos, Kings College London:

We work with Prof. Iliopoulos on methods in stringology (i.e. computation of genome mappability)

Oliver Kohlbacher, Eberhardt-Karls Universität Tübingen

We collaborate with Prof. Kohlbacher most notably in the CIBI (Center for Integrative Bioinformatics) as part of the de.NBI network.

Bernhard Renard, Robert-Koch-Institute

We collaborate with Prof. Renard on an extension of the DREAM framework to make work while sequencing pathogens. The BMBF funded project is titled LIVE-DREAM.

Annalisa Marsico, FU Berlin & MPI Molgen

With Prof. Marsico we collaborate on a DFG funded project for analysing lncRNAs.

Ulrike Herzschuh, AWI Potsdam

Prof. Herzschuh and our group have a joint project in the HEIBRIDS graduate school.

Martin Vingron and Stefan Mundlos, MPI for Molecular Genetics, Berlin

We collaborate with the Vingron and Mundlos group on the iGenVar project, aiming at developing a comprehensive tool for finding structural variations using short and long read data.

Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung, Berlin

We collaborate with the BfR and David Meierhofer’s group at the MPI Molgen in a BMBF funded project “EssBar” to find potentially dangerous food contamination.
